Beyond the Veil
It’s the season for spooky stories, and nothing is spookier than when the stories are rooted in truth! Explore tales and traditions, spirits and sightings, in a guided tour through McConaghy House or Meek Mansion. Tours last approximately one hour. For a less chilling experience with fewer spooks and ghouls, please book the 6:15 tour.

Please note that this is a guided tour in the dark focused on the macabre and not a haunted house experience. All members of your party will need to be 14 years of age or older due to topics covered on this tour. Membership status for member tickets will be manually verified and confirmed with purchaser.
McConaghy House, located next to Kennedy Park in Hayward. 2025 tour theme is Ghosts. Tours available Friday, October 17 and Saturday, October 18.
Meek Mansion, located in Meek Estate Park in Cherryland. 2025 tour theme is Death in the Home, exploring death and mourning practices from 1860 through the turn of the century. Tours available Friday, October 24 and Saturday, October 25.
“Day Of” Tour availability
Limited tickets are available at the door. Please arrive at least 15 minutes in advance of your desired tour time. Online tickets for same-day tours will appear sold out after 3:00 PM. Actual sold out tour times will be noted below.
