My Hayward Photo Contest

Hayward is a huge city with a very diverse community. We all have living in Hayward in common but we may not all have the same ‘Hayward’. There are different communities, neighborhoods, and interests that create differing experiences for everyone living here. We are looking for you to submit a photo that best represents YOUR Hayward with a short description/explanation. It could be a photo of a business, a celebration, a community event, a school production—whatever means something to you as a Hayward resident.

All entries will be displayed at the HAHS Art Gallery November 12, 2026 thru February 2027.

Photograph must be a minimum of 600 dpi; HAHS will print and frame photos

Deadline for submission: October 1

Adult and Student categories — All ages welcome to participate!

Awards for the best submissions as judged by representatives from the Board of Directors from HAHS and HAC

Awards for both age groups:

• Gold $150

• Silver $100

• Bronze $75

• 2 awards of merit at $50 each

• Honorable mention $35
