Celebrate Father's Day with tours and a movie at the Meek Mansion and Park! There will be family history tours of the Mansion in the afternoon and a viewing of the movie Hook in the park under the stars. In the spirit of the film, come in your pirate gear or fairy wings! Participate in a parade and win prizes for best costumes. Visit the concession stand for drinks and goodies. This event is produced in partnership with Hayward Area Recreation District. Proceeds benefit the maintenance and restoration of the Mansion.
Mansion Tour times: 1:00 PM, 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM. Tickets for the tours are limited and must be purchased in advance.
6:00 PM – Costume Parade in the park. Entry is free! Prizes awarded for best pirate and fairy costumes.
7:00 PM – Movie starts!
