About the Estate:

• Open for tours
• McConaghy Seasonal Exhibits
• The McConaghy Estate includes a 12-room farmhouse, tank house, and carriage house. The home is furnished in the style of 1886 -- the date it was built.
• This historic site is owned by the Hayward Area Parks and Recreation District and is operated by the Hayward Area Historical Society.
• The McConaghy House Boutique, in the maid's room, features Victorian gifts and books and also includes inexpensive items for children to purchase.
• Starting the Saturday after Thanksgiving and running through December, the house is decorated for "Christmas 1886" with Victorian decorations, gifts, games, and traditions.
• There are special decorations for other holidays.
• The estate is located next to Kennedy Park with its picnic area, playground, petting zoo, merry-go-round, and train.

From 880 N: Take the Hesperian Blvd. Exit and turn left at the end of the ramp. Follow Hesperian Blvd. South. Just after Bockman Road, turn right into parking lot entrance.

From 880 S: Take the Lewelling Blvd. Exit. At the end of the ramp cross over Lewelling to Hesperian and take frontage road. At the next light turn right on Hesperian Blvd. Just past Bockman Road,turn right into the parking lot entrance.

From 580 E: Take the Route 238/Hayward Exit. Then immediately take the San Mateo Bridge/San Jose Exit. Follow the Route 238 North and take the Hesperian Blvd./San Lorenzo Exit. At the end of the ramp turn right on Hesperian. Just past Bockman Road. turn right into the parking lot entrance.

From 580 W: Take Route 238 to the Hesperian Blvd./San Lorenzo Exit. At the end of the ramp, turn right on Hesperian Blvd. Just after Bockman, turn right into the parking lot entrance.
