Future Exhibits

With all the milestones in our lives--births, marriages, graduations, anniversaries-death is the one we least like to think about. We all have different views of death and different ways of mourning. Our funerary customs have changed over time as well. Our upcoming exhibition, Dearly Departed, will explore these traditions. The exhibition project will include a special exhibition at the downtown Museum, tours of the San Lorenzo Pioneer Cemetery, and a chance to see a typical Victorian home, the McConaghy House, in mourning.
