Meek update 2008

While we began repairs to the roof and windows of the Meek Estate in 2007, it took until June of this year to complete all the work. The entire roof was replaced and we fixed many of the gutters that were causing a lot of water damage to the interior of the house and the foundation. We repaired or replaced every window in the house, which all had various levels of deterioration. We also fixed every spec of dry rot, caused by water damage, around the house. HARD is doing some repair work to the plantings around the perimeter of the house and installing drains to help pull additional water away from the foundation so we don't have as many water problems in the future. We expect the interior of the house to be water tight this winter for the first time in many years.

Our next step is to make some repairs to one portion of the foundation to strengthen it up and then we'll be ready to start on the interior.
