Archie's Playroom at McConaghy House

Archie's Playroom at McConaghy House
Hands-on history for kids!

Kids can now explore the history of Hayward's Victorian era in their very own room at the McConaghy House. Located on the second floor of the house museum, "Archie's Playroom" features a variety of games, activities, and programs for children ages 2 to 10. The room is named after Archie McConaghy, the oldest of the McConaghy children.

Starting June 19th, Archie's Playroom will be open every Saturday from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Admission: $5 for adults, $3 for students and seniors, and FREE for children under 10 and HAHS members.

On the Second Saturday of every month, HAHS will be holding special Children's Programs in the morning. These programs will include tours of the house, crafts, games, and time in Archie's Playroom. Each program will run from 10-11a.m., and Archie's Playroom will be open for free play until 4p.m. Second Saturday programs are included with regular admission.

McConaghy House is located at 18701 Hesperian Boulevard in Hayward, next to Kennedy Park. For more information, call (510) 581-0223.
