Officially started in 1870, Lone Tree Cemetery is the final resting place for many of the Hayward area’s early pioneers. Start your Saturday with a morning visit to the burial sites of some notable families to learn more about their contributions to the area and family histories. The Pioneer Circle Tour will begin at the amphitheater and requires walking uphill and navigating uneven paths.
